Dr. Angelakis to discuss the benefits of lung cancer screening

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in New Hampshire, killing more than breast, colon and prostate cancer combined. Today, low dose CT screenings are available, increasing the rate of early detection.

If you have a history of smoking and are between the ages of 55-77, you may qualify to be screened.

Join Dr. Betsy Angelakis, Chief of Breast Imaging, to learn the benefits of screening and to find out more about the specifics of eligibility. Lung screening CT is covered by most insurances and Medicare.
