John C. Loh, MD, Musculoskeletal Specialist, joins SNHRC.

SNHRC is pleased to welcome to Dr. John C. Loh to our practice.

Dr. Loh is a Musculoskeletal Specialist who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with an emphasis on musculoskeletal MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging.)

Dr. Loh graduated from The University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  He later received a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.  Dr. Loh continued his graduate education, receiving his Medical Degree from Washington University School of Medicine.  He completed his internship in General Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), followed by a year of orthopaedic research in the Musculoskeletal Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh and two years of Orthopaedic Surgery residency at UPMC. Dr. Loh completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine, and finally a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at National Orthopedic Imaging Associates in San Francisco (David W. Stoller, MD).

Dr. Loh is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology.  He is the 2002 recipient of the Richard O’Connor Award from the Arthroscopy Association of North America.  In addition, he was awarded the Wilson Prize for Excellence in Radiological Research from Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Loh’s research work includes his award winning work in graft tunnel placement for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and pioneering work in CT colonoscopy.
